Why I became a teacher: to nurture and cultivate a love of learning

In this new, Adam López, a primary teacher, tells us about his experience like a child at school, how he decided to be a teacher, and finally he tell us his beliefs about learning and teaching.
He remembered when he was in primary school; it was a small Welsh rural primary school and he had a teacher whose name was Mr. Davies who was a nice teacher and more relaxed than the other teachers. Also, he promoted a good atmosphere in the class because he enjoyed teaching and he has a good sense of humour. He inspired to Adam to be a teacher years later.

Adam said the idea of teacher began when travelled to Spain with his family and decided to do a voluntary work as a teacher assistant. Since that, he recognized that he loved teaching.
The deputy head influenced in his learning like a teacher because he taught him a lot of things like how to interact with children, how to rescue the positive things and offer good learning opportunities for children.

Finally, Adam López thinks the teaching like a garden, or rather children need to be cultivated with love, patience, care, considering their interests and developing a relationship. Also he told us that he had a garden into his school, in which children have an important role in it.
